At the meeting of the “International Commission of Inquiry to Protect Basic Human Rights in the face of Globalisation” held in Barcelona on 25-26 April 2003 on the theme: "Nous atacs, noves respostes", it was decided to support the initiative of a European Legal Team for the G8 Summit in Evian, France on 1-3 June 2003 and to support the Legal Team that has been created for the EU Summit in Thessaloniki, Greece on 20 June 2003.
The European Legal Team’s principles, an organisation founded by AED (European Democratic Lawyers), are presented in a report presented by Anne Maesschalk (Belgium) to the meeting in Barcelona (see no 4 below for link).
