THE FINNISH GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS THE DUTCH GOVERNMENT'S APPLICATION ON EU TRANSPARENCY

The Cabinet Committee on European Union discussed the Dutch government's application submitted to the European Court of Justice on the decision known as the Solana decision (C-369/00). With its intervention Finland supports the Netherlands. The Finnish application to intervene was sent to the European Court of Justice on November 3, 2000.

The objective of the aforementioned intervention is to promote Finland's aim of increasing transparency within the EU.
