Parliament votes in favour of legal action over the "Solana
Decision"
At is meeting today (13.9.00) the Legal Affairs and Internal Market Committee of the European Parliament voted in favour of an opinion to appeal to the Court of Justice against the "Solana/NATO Decision" of 26 July.
The initiative was passed by 13 votes to 10. The Socialist Group (PSE) voted against.
The opinion agreed is addressed to the President of the European Parliament, Madame Fontaine who will take the final decision on the issue.
