European Parliament's Transport Committee decides not to adopt a report on the Commission's proposals on EU driving licences

6.4.04: The Committee decided not to adopt a report on the Commission's proposals on EU driving licences - including plastic card licences with a microchip. The two biggest groups in the parliament the PPE (Conservatives) and PSE (Socialist) joined forces to put the measure on hold.
