Malta: Disobedient migrants put in "confinement"

UNHCR appalled at 11 migrants being held for 3-5 days in a room three metres by two-and-a-half metres with no window, no light source and no toilet. The 11 men had allegedly tried to escape and were from a group of 51 migrants who had been stranded at sea on a Spanish trawler because Malta refused them permission to land.
