G8: European Democratic Lawyers Press Statement on the G8 summit, held in Heiligendamm from the 6th-8th of June

During the G8 summit, held in Heiligendamm from the 6th to the 8th of June 2007, a large number of German lawyers belonging to the RAV (Association of Republican Lawyers), the Strafverteidigervereinigung von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (association of defence lawyers) as well as lawyers belonging to the EDL (European Democratic Lawyers) and to the Legal Team Europa committed themselves to defend the fundamental rights of those who had come from all over Europe to express their dissent.
