Background: The primary decision to have biometric (fingerprints) EU passports was taken in November 2004:
EU governments blackmail European Parliament into quick adoption of its report on biometric passports and
EU governments demand that the European Parliament rushes through mandatory finger-printing and biometric passports. The adopted Regulation in the Official Journal:
