EU-PNR: Council of the European Union: EU external strategy on Passenger Name Record (PNR) data - Handling of draft negotiation mandates for PNR Agreements with Canada, the United States of America and Australia (pdf). The Council is proposing to open negotiations with the USA, Canada and Australia at the same time. The Council says that the Commission Communication on the global approach to transfers of Passenger Name Record (PNR) data to third countries (COM 492, pdf) meets the European Parliament's concerns as expressed in its Resolution on the launch of negotiations for Passenger Name Record (PNR) agreements with the United States, Australia and Canada (pdf)
