EU: REVISION OF THE REGULATION ON ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS: Consolidation text of the Council of the European Union's position as at 5 June

This consolidated version (Statewatch: 4.6.12) of the Council’s proposed amendments to Regulation 1049/2001 is based on its document no: 9441/12 and has been updated to include the revised Article 4a (agreed by COREPER). The Commission and Parliament proposals for Articles 10 and 16 have been added as the latter contains a “Red Line” issue (which the Council chose not to amend). No amendments are proposed for Articles 9, 11 and 13 by the Commission or Council.
