GREECE: Amygdaleza detention centre unwanted by local community

"Trouble is already brewing in Amygdaleza, where the first detention centre has been set up. The municipality of Acharnes, north of greater Athens, filed a petition for an injunction on Monday against Citizen Protection Minister Mihalis Chryssohoidis, charging “that the Amygdaleza detention centre for illegal migrants was illegally set up”.
