UK: Regulators should have greater freedom to interpret new EU data protection laws, say MPs

"The Information Commissioner's Office and other data protection authorities across the EU should have the freedom to interpret new EU data protection laws in order to determine organisations' compliance with the rules, a Parliamentary committee has recommended."
