This also had a political aspect as it reassured the population that migrants were no risk.”
and EU-USA Agreement data protection: “Hopefully, the Umbrella Agreement could be signed in June at the EU-US ministerial meeting and adopted in autumn. However, if an opinion by the ECJ was deemed necessary by the European Parliament, there would be a delay.” [emphasis added]
