We will examine how the role of Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, continues to grow, focusing in particular on the financing, coordination and carrying out of forced removal operations.
Do the new powers granted to the agency have sufficient transparency and accountability mechanisms? What is the agency’s impact on human rights? And what does the EU's new Pact on Migration and Asylum have to say about deportations and the role of Frontex?
