Member States' positions | Fourteen of the ‘old’ Member States (all except UK) have given jurisdiction to the Court; eleven of them give jurisdiction to all national courts or tribunals to send references (Ireland, Portugal and Spain allow only final courts to refer); all three of the new Member States have given jurisdiction to the Court (Lithuania allows all courts and tribunals to refer; Latvia and Slovakia allow final courts to refer) |
