Police in Portsmouth are investigating a spate of racial
attacks and incidents after a Bangladeshi man was viciously
beaten by a white teenager.
Mohammed Rafique, 55, was in the lift of his estate when
he was suddenly set upon by the youth. According to police
looking into the attack, several Bangladeshi families in
Portsmouth have complained of harassment by what police termed
`bored teenagers.' (New Life 21.12.90)
