Bina Kumari Defence Campaign
artdoc July=1991

A defence campaign for an Asian family that campaigners say
were racially harassed by their council estate neighbours
only to be jailed for defending themselves has been launched
in
Birmingham.
The Kumari family of Wandle Grove, Tyseley, say they
endured attacks and abuse in which such slurs as `Get those
black bastards out of here' and `you Pakis are bastards and
you are dead, we will get rid of you' were used by their
white neighbours. (Asian Times 22.1.91)
