Two women from Camberwell have been cleared of assault charges
made against them by two police officers.
The police claimed that they had to forcibly arrest the
women who had had an argument with a fishmonger. The
prosecution dropped the case after it was revealed to the court
that the two arresting officers were over six feet tall and
weighed a total of 36 st. (Voice 19.2.91)
