Clerk brings case against his police employers

An Asian civilian clerk received compensation from the
Nottinghamshire police for racial discrimination allegedly
suffered at work.
Shyam Kapila, 41, who was employed by Nottinghamshire
police, claimed that he had been forced to quit his job
because of racial abuse and discrimination. The
Nottinghamshire Police have made an out of court settlement
with Mr Kapila and will pay him an undisclosed sum.
