Community jails urged
artdoc July=1991

family visits in community jails is being planned by Lord
justice Woolf. The suggested changes come as a result of an
increasing incidence of prison suicides and general public
disapproval of the prison system. (Independent 31.1.91;
Times 1.1.91)
