According to the Home Office's `Statistical Bulletin: Notifiable
Offences Recorded by the Police in England and Wales 1984',
crime rose by 8% last year, with robberies rising by 13% and
muggings by 11%; Kilburn's schools liaison bureau has organised
a scheme for Brent and Harrow school pupils to patrol with
police officers.
