Dossier on racist attacks

The Movement of Citizen's Solidarity and Tolerance (HOST) has
produced a dossier of over 180 racially motivated attacks over
the last three years which resulted in at least 12 murders
(Prague Post 20-26 7.94).

Roma form civic guard

Roma in the Czech town of Jablonec Nad Nisou have announced that
they are to form a civil guard and take their own measures of
self-protection after molotov cocktails were thrown through the
windows of a Roma family's home. This was the third such incident
in the village since May. A 12-year-old girl and a 35-year old
women were seriously injured. The police have been criticised for
not doing enough (Romnews no. 10, 19.7.94).
