A statistical table was presented by Christopher Mayhew, Home
Office Minister, showing offences of violence in the
Metropolitan Police District by the ethnic appearance of the
attacker and the victim, together with the total number of
offences for the period 1977-80. Also figures for violent
crimes in the MPD and
Newham for 1975-80.
