"After an historical introduction the authors provide a detailed
analysis of the case law on the rights protected by the Convention
and its Protocols. They then review the institutions responsible for
supervising the Convention: the Commission and Court of Human Rights
and the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. Finally,
they examine the relations between the Convention and other Human
Rights arrangements, such as the new CSCE mechanism, and conclude by
considering the Convention's future.
