A Nottingham Appeal Court has found Grace Jones, a black
probation officer, not guilty of obstruction after she intervened
in the arrest of two juveniles in Nottingham in August 1989. Ms.
Jones, who says that she spent 15 hours in a police cell, plans
to take a civil action against the police. (Voice 7.8.90)
