quarterly pilgrimage to Stonehenge, the author who has been on
and off the road for four years, describes the attractions of
travelling and analyses the hostile response of the police, press
and public to this way of life. A separate section notes how the
Department of the Environment and district councils are
determined to exclude such people from the benefits of
legislation covering gipsies.
