Portsmouth teenagers arrested
artdoc July=1991

Police in Portsmouth have arrested a small group of
teenagers following sustained racial harassment on a housing
estate.
The teenagers, ranging between the ages of 12 and 16,
are alleged to have mounted racist posters directed at the
Asian families living on the estate. Many of the families
had made complaints to the police of attacks and abuse. (New
