Romania: Bill to curb foreigners

The Romanian Senate is to consider new legislation, the
Foreigners' Status Bill, which would require visitors to register
with the police within 48 hours of entry. The Bill would also
give the Ministry of the Interior powers to limit foreigners'
movements `for reasons linked to national security, public order,
public health or public morale'. Balkan News, 13.11.94.
