Notes that UK sex discrimination legislation has been modified
and extended on a number of occasions as a result of cases
referred to the European Court. Refers to the recent judgements
in a case against the Royal Ulster Constabulary on the issue of
firearms training not being available to policewomen, which
raised some very important points of principle. 24 references.
