Description of MIRIAM - Major Incident Room Index and Action
Management. This is a research project being undertaken by
the Scientific Research and Development Branch of the Home
Office to evaluate how the use of computer systems might
facilitate the administration and information retrieval
capabilities of incident rooms set up to control the enquiry
into a major crime. Covers the system's objectives, services,
hardware and operational use, and the timescale of its national
implementation.
