THE NUCLEAR WINTER
refdoc July=1991

JOURNAL ARTICLE , User Ref = 003155
O Greene , J Shepherd
Sanity, Jun 1984 (6) pp16-27

Detailed examination, based on recent scientific findings, of
the likely effects on the world's climate of a larger-scale
nuclear war. Comments briefly on the implications for such
civil defence policies as exist, and suggests that an
anti-nuclear campaign based on the threat of a nuclear winter
could be much more effective than that based on wholesale
destruction which many people cannot imagine.
