Report of an inquiry into the possible misuse of the Police
National Computer (PNC) by some police officers in connection with
the BP/National `Lucky Numbers' Game. Looks at the PNC Codes of
Practice, the Data Protection Act 1984 and force instructions.
Recommends that Chief Constables should be invited to re-examine
the relevant instructions in their forces against certain
recommendations.
