Mr. Cryer: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what
is the total number of United States bases in the United
Kingdom; and if he will list them.

Mr. Archie Hamilton: The following 67 bases and
Facilities have been made available for use by United States
forces in the United Kingdom:

(1) RAF Fairford will become a Standby Deployment Base on 7
August 1990
